During the 2023-24 Hockey season, I joined Canucks Sports & Entertainment through their Top Prospects program as their content intern. Throughout my internship, I was able to gain skills in all aspects of sports content production. From filming hockey and lacrosse (see Vancouver Warriors page) to partnerships outside of the arena to editing content for all social platforms.

Dakota Joshua - Canucks In Cars
The Vancouver Canucks have an ongoing interview series sponsored by Toyota where Canucks players, alumni or prominent staff drive around Vancouver answering candid questions. I was trusted to edit this edition with Forward Dakota Joshua and Rinkside Reporter Kate Pettersen, and it was one of the biggest projects I edited as the organization's content intern.
Content I Produced and Edited
During my time with the Canucks, I supported many projects in many different roles (camera operator, sound assistant, researcher, etc.). Whenever a new project was assigned, after looking over the project description, I approached each video asking myself what story am I trying to tell and how could I tell it with the footage provided. I prided myself in being able to come out with a first draft that required little revisions because as someone with experience in the industry, I understand how to pace the video in a way that keeps the audience engaged, especially when most of the videos I made were for social media.
Media Day
Every year sports teams have a media day where players film content that will be released throughout the season and used during game presentation. I was fortunate enough to edit all the videos below, sharpening my skills in multicamera/audio editing and social pacing.
Move of the Week - All Season Long
Every week the Canucks had a partnership post with REMAX called "Move of the Week" and I was tasked with discussing the pick with their social team and editing the clips together from broadcast footage. Below are some examples and more can be found on my gondola profile.

Media Availabilities - All Season Long
My goal during my internship was to train and work as a full-time producer for the Canucks, and with that came covering post-practice media availabilities. When covering media availabilities, you shoot, edit and upload the videos to various platforms (Facebook, Twitter & NHL.com) and I got very efficient in the end. Below are two media availabilities that I covered during the playoffs.
